Established in 2013, Community Corporate is a national award-winning diversity and inclusion company operating in the niche area of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Our Story
Community Corporate was founded by Social Entrepreneur and second-generation Filipino migrant, Ms Carmen Garcia. Carmen witnessed firsthand exposure to the struggles her mother faced in being able to practice her profession of law without her qualifications being recognised in Australia.
This, along with her collective experience from state government, private and community sectors placed her well to identify the disconnect.
Carmen established Community Corporate with the goals of challenging conventional thinking, brokering relationships across sectors and advocating for the important role of work as a corner stone to settlement and belonging for newcomers to Australia.
She believes:

By far the largest area of activity, representing some 65% of the company’s work, is custom-designed refugee employment programs. These services are tailored to the appetite of corporate partners to access a diverse workforce by adapting and creating different processes for recruitment and entry into their businesses.
