We are excited to launch a new partnership initiative to maximise SA’s skilled migrant talent. Led by award-winning cultural recruitment specialists Community Corporate in partnership with the South Australian Government and SEEK.
This new one-stop-shop aims to:
- Connect skilled migrants already onshore in South Australia with local employers looking for skilled workers.
- Collaborate with businesses of all sizes to facilitate customised recrutiment pathways with specialised wrap around support.
- Create sustainable workforce solutions to meet our state’s skilling needs by unleashing this hidden pool of talent.

Masterclasses and skill development sessions to ensure currency of skills alignment to the job market including access to experts’ industry insights.

Individualised job coaching including assistance with industry demands, job applications, resume reviews, interview skills and pre-employment training.

Industry engagement and networking events to connect with local employers.

Job matching and placement services to link you to direct skilled job opportunities with wrap around support to make the most of the opportunity.

For local employers

Recruitment and placement services includes sourcing, shortlisting, compliance checks and application support to help you find the right candidate to meet your genuine skilled vacancies.

Specialist cultural advisory assistance is available to support employers navigate visa conditions and ensure culturally inclusive recruitment processes including onboarding support.

Industry engagement and networking events to connect with local skilled migrants.

Cultural confidence, safety and inclusion training to bust myths and build confident welcoming workplaces that celebrate cultural diversity.

Skilled migrants looking for job opportunities in SA
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently residing in South Australia
- Profession/ skills must be listed on the Skilled and Business Migration Occupation List.
- Meet Skill Level 1 to 3 as outlined in the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO)
And hold an eligible visa with unlimited work rights:
- Skilled Independent – visa subclass 189
- State/ Territory Nominated – visa subclass 190
- Skilled Work Regional – visa subclass 491 (489)
- Global Talent (independent) – visa subclass 858
- Temporary Graduate – visa subclass 485 (conditions apply)
- Partners/ secondary applicants to the above visas who meet the other criteria may be eligible to apply. E.g. Permanent Partner – visa subclass 100
